How To Be An Artist #5

#5 is very timely because it’s our anniversary today. I wished for simple things ... here are two. I was craving lobster and since we are not in the coast or a larger city, finding a place beyond Red Lobster was a feat in itself. We discovered Mackenzie’s Prime. Since it was early, we had the place to ourselves which made it more special. The twins were delicious.
The second was tickets to see Maroon 5 and Train in concert.
Not really a surprise, since I dropped hints all week about wanting to see the opening act, Matt Nathanson. I’ve been absorbing his new CD, Modern Love, since its release. This review, aptly sums up the reality of {modern} love:
“... no matter how much we need someone else to connect with in life, in the end, there’s a very great possibility that loneliness is what’s lurking in the end. The idea of “forever” isn’t what rings true on this record; it's more that we need to embrace the moments that we’re together, even if they can’t or won’t last until the end of time. And sometimes, that has to be enough. ..” {source}
