San Diego | CALIFORNIA

Trying to figure out who I am
Or who I’m supposed to be
Feel good about where I stand
So I can make the most of me,
I'm coming back down from space
A million miles away
There’s a lot of love in this place
And I’m just trying to say
I’m good
I’m good I’m good I’m good
Living life just like I should
Wouldn't change it if I could
I’m good I’m good I’m good

November 1-6, 2016 | The experience is everything. Meeting creatives who remind you not to be afraid to chase your dream, inspire you to continue to learn, grow; finding joy in friends, sunshine and culinary treats; being present.
Rockin’ Baja Lobster. You can’t go wrong with the free nachos and tasty salsas while you wait for your main course.
(Right) Rustic Root. Check out the Clams appetizer and lobster pasta. So good. 4 star Buddha Belly!
Meeting one of my favorite travel photographers, Chris Burkard, was a definite highlight of AdobeMAX 2016. | Sneaks hosted by comedian, Jordan Peele.
DECO BIKE Squad!
Experiential sculpture by Janet Echelman. Floating in the wind, changing colors like the northern lights! Trippy.
LOVE The Mowgli’s
ALABAMA SHAKES!
Cafe 21. DELICIOUS scallop omelet and shrimp corn eggs Benedict on the patio. Shortly after I took this photo, a loud, sweating homeless man abruptly grabbed the water from our table. He was very thirsty and not interested in my coffee (he said so). A bit of reality from San Diego.
Chocolate. I couldn’t find the sign but I believe the cafe was called CHOCOLATE. It’s worth a mention because, Hello. GELATO!
I couldn’t tell you what my favorite Quentin Tarantino film is, but Kill Bill and From Dusk till Dawn left an impression ~ I mean, George Clooney and vampires! C’mon.

Zac Posen and his LIT gown design for the Met Ball. WOWza.
Photojournalist Lynsey Addario is an amazing storyteller. “I can tell stories with pictures, I can educate people, I can use my camera as an excuse to access people and travel the world.”
Adobe engineer demonstrates a new app, WET BRUSH. The pen tool that works like a paint brush and creates a 3-D (like paint) product. It is AMAZE.
Unconditional Surrender | Sea lions at the Marina.
Interstellar, aka, view from the escalators
11.05.16 ~ Taking the ferry from San Diego and walking 26K steps to and from Coronado Beach; loving the super cute homes along the way; drinking in the sun, ocean blue bay, gold speckled sand, ebony boulders; California dreaming on this island that is Coronado.

Hotel Del Coronado

The last time I was in San Diego was over a decade ago. Third times a CHARM! Once again, we were blessed with a week of PERFECT 70 degrees, sunshiny weather. San Diego is a lovely city to venture around. Will I be back? YES. Always, YES. xo Ren
