Chris’s mom, Susan, took us back to their old neighborhood, where Chris hung out when he was younger. I love going to places that have special meanings — there was a charming, old covered bridge and peaceful lake. Kaia, his pretty malamute, joined Chris — both of them are equally quiet and good-looking.
