What should have taken 13 hours took 19 hours, due to a ferry debacle and unmoving traffic once we reached Alabama. But it was nice to move away from 105 degrees weather {back home} to balmy, cooler high 80s in Gulf Shores. We finally arrived at our Gumbo One beach house {aptly named for it’s New Orleans themed decor — love our “Captain’s Headquarters” bedroom} around 5:30 p.m. We quickly settled in and greeted the ocean view. {Ren Reiske © All Rights Reserved} instagram @groovininthesun
