It was a five hour drive to Fayetteville, AR but worth the trip to finally meet Meredith and Dale of Benfield Photography (Check out his cool blog here ). It was a perfectly warm-weathered, early evening when we arrived. The fun, enthusiastic couple spent the next couple of hours taking us to various locations for Beau’s photo shoot.
It’s always interesting to watch other creative people at work. Mere and Dale make it look so easy and FUN, despite the heat and bugs. Beau had a blast (even when she had to lay in the field amongst chiggers).
Afterwards, we stayed for a late dinner at the college town. With a plethora of restaurants and bars to choose from, we settled on Hog Haus Brewing Company. I’m a sucker for micro-breweries. The white beer cheese dip with blue corn nachos is delish with any beer (I went light: Curly Tail Pale). Thanks, Dale, for the suggestion. We can’t wait to see the photos! (update: go here )
