While I’m not a big follower of country music, I have a healthy new respect for country in the name of Wynonna. Wynonna Judd. Jesus-loving, country, rocker, chick. Tonight, I was pleasantly surprised and entertained by this wonderfully inspiring and vocally-gifted performer. Her often funny anecdotes about her mother, Naomi, and sister/actress, Ashley, made us think about our families and nostalgic holiday memories. Her background vocals consisted of an amazing quartet, who were dressed in Johnny Cash black and singing in perfect harmony. My favorites were her renditions of Burning Love and I Wanna Know What Love Is. Yes, Lady Elvis was in the house.
