Have passport. Will travel. That should be my next T-shirt design. A couple of weeks ago, we were visiting Westminster College and met a professor who put a bug in my ear about traveling when he spoke about studying abroad. We also met Nicco, the super fantastic tour guide from South Africa, who piqued my interest in London again — maybe it was his super fantastic accent. I have longed to travel to Europe for quite some time. I can recall when Beau was younger, wanting to do the Gilmore Girls thing and backpack through Europe before she leaves for college. Well, that time has come and we’re making those plans a reality — hoping for an enriched life experience and a safe, less-than-Amazing-Race adventure! ReplyDeleteWend to Italy in 2004 and had a great time. You can find some really good bargains on rooms if you're willing to forgo the American type hotels. Most will negotiate with you this time of year since it's the off season. And it makes the experience a bit more "real". Hope you have fun!
