I’m embarrassed to admit that I bought the new Taylor Swift CD, Red. Hey, it’s impressive – and honestly, she’s not making millions selling to mere teenagers! Still. Part of the embarrassment comes from my need to boycott all things Pop, pop-sugary, or pop-culturey-reality-muckery. But lately, I’ve been feeling emo. I was driving to work today, listening to TS, and this song … this song, which I kept playing over and over.

break 

and burn 

and end …

I watched it begin again. 

And this happened. The sun came up.
