farewell Twilight {Breaking Dawn 2}

Four years, five movies later, it’s time to fare thee well. We celebrated one last time at Sarah’s annual Twilight gathering for the Breaking Dawn 2 midnight (10 p.m.) opening.
Thank you, Sarah Hill {and company} for always being a gracious host. We will always have Twilight {and crazy cutout boards!}.
Breaking Dawn 1 — Bella’s bonfire, a.k.a. Bella’s transformation.

Eclipse — Bella’s red truck

New Moon — Introduction of the wolf pack. Look who’s Team Jacob.
Bella’s birthday cake…

And then there was Twilight, where it all began.

Sidenote: For those of you who have been following and have asked me what I thought of the last movie, I will say this. I almost didn’t go, but I’m glad I did. I read and loved all the books when they first came out. The movies were cheesy but for the most part, entertaining. This last one had a surprise and bittersweet ending (I loved the music, the most). There was definitely a different vibe watching the last one at our local midnight show. When Kristen Stewart (Bella) says, “Now you know. No one’s ever loved anyone as much as I love you.” Someone yelled, “the director!” It wasn’t me, but yeah, I smirked.
*SPOILER* (oh don’t you love spoiler alerts? Most of you reading on have read the books or watched the movies, so there isn’t anything new here). In the end there’s a homage to all the characters/actors who have been in the Twi-saga movies. It ends with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) big audience applause. Edward (Rob Pattinson) big audience applause. Bella (Kristen Stewart) silence.
Yep, that’s a wrap.
