twenty one

At midnight, my baby girl turns 21. And even though we aren’t going to Vegas and having 21 shots (because that was the plan would be insane), we will celebrate. To start, I thought it would be fun to share 21 things about Miss Beau…
She was named after Michelle Pfeiffer’s character in LadyHawke. Michelle played a Lady, a PRINCESS. | She sold her first art print at age 6 for $100. As someone who works in the creative field, I could not have been prouder. The profit went to charity. More pride. | When she was little, she loved the remake of The Little Princess. “All little girls are princesses.” But she will deny that. | She was a CHEERLEADER in junior high. But she will deny that. | She has watched Just Friends and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, a bajillion times. | Gilmore Girls is our marathon-watching-show. She is my Rory. | She didn’t play soccer until age 10. Played through high school and college … She’s an all-star soccer player* | After one bad encounter, she’s afraid of dolphins. She thinks they’re *EVIL*. I am quoting her.* | She loves dogs. Do not take her to a shelter unless you plan on taking one home. | Her first concert was Lifehouse (a Christian band?). Second concert, Tech N9ne (not a Christian band). | She loves country music. I don’t know where that came from. | Her girl crush is Carrie Underwood. | Her guy crush is Channing Tatum. Ryan Gosling. Ryan Reynolds. Pick one. Rob Pattinson. Just kidding. | She is neither a dancer or a singer. But don’t tell her that. She’ll prove me wrong. | This girl knows her way around airports, trains, subways – but if you’re walking, don’t give her a street map to follow. | She’s left-handed. | She has a shoe obsession. Including a bajillion sneakers. | She shares the same birthday as HARLEY.

Ok, that’s not quite 21 and I could go on, but I’ve probably reached the limit of how-much-I-can-embarrass-Bo-Bo. We love you girl to infinity and beyond. I can’t wait to see you again and CELEBRATE. Loves.
