Shanghai | China {part 1}

May 29 | Jing’an Temple
Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. — Dalai Lama

May 29 | Entrance of Jing’an Temple — female lion guard and her cub
Jing’an Temple — Burning incense and prayer
People will throw coins up into the kettle. If it goes in, you are blessed with LUCK. After several throws I got one in!
Jinmao Tower and Oriental Pearl TV Tower
Pudong at night with it’s lights and reflective river is spectacular.

The Bund — our room faced a dirty ally but at night you can see this gorgeously lit crown.

The Bund Bull is younger than the New York City bull, reddish in color and leans to the right, instead of the left. It has a more menacing tail that spirals toward the sky, which Di Modica (the sculptor) said, reflects the uplifting financial trend of the country.
