GETTING TO KNOW SARAH:
Hometown:
Hometown:
I was born in St. Louis, MO but I really consider Rogersville, MO my hometown. I moved there when I was about 3 and a half years old so most of my childhood memories are from there!
3 Words to Describe Me:
easy-going — there’s very few things I can’t roll with, generally if other people are happy I am too!
indecisive — I treat every decision like life or death; not on purpose just by nature. It drives my sister and mom crazy but I can’t help it! I’m always afraid to choose wrong.
positive — I try to find the good in things even when they don’t go how I planned. I believe there’s a reason for everything so I do my best to always be optimistic!
Hobbies/Activities:
I really enjoying relaxing and hammocking when the weather is nice. I like to play guitar when I have free time! I've been teaching myself for about a year and a half and I mostly look up songs I like and try to play them! I like country and play a lot of Christian songs. I used to be a gymnast but now once a week I coach younger girls at Show Me Gymnastics! Of course I love to hang out with my friends and family doing just about anything.
Favorite Book, show, movie:
This is a hard one. There’s too many movies and books to pick from and I don’t watch much TV but when I do my guilty pleasure is The Bachelor. My sister and I are proud members of The Bachelor Nation despite the haters (aka the rest my family). I also have a strange interest in The Walking Dead thanks to my dad.
Perfect Day:
The perfect day would feel something like sunny and 75 with a gentle breeze. Maybe a nice walk/hike in the morning followed by a good nap in my hammock. Somewhere in there would be taking some time to read a good book and spend some time in my Bible. I’d love to have the evening spent with family, extended and all, for a nice big meal topped off with some ice cream.
Plans after graduation?
I plan to attend the University of Arkansas in the fall and study nursing. I hope to eventually specialize in Neonatal Intensive Care or work in the Labor and Delivery department of a hospital. I also would not be surprised if I ended up serving on Medical Missions teams at some point, I’d like to combine my two passions of mission work and caring for others!
We had a perfect sunshiny afternoon, and Sarah didn’t let the gusty wind get in her way! She is the sweetest and her natural smile is contagious. Leslie and Sarah, THANK YOU for choosing 2Rtist Photography. You were both so wonderful to work with. xo Ren
