Day 13. Found

I just found out that one of my best girlfriends had her first baby. I’m over the moon for her, but more on that later.

As you know I have a innate connection with elephants. Yes, it’s probably because my mother collected them and told me they were lucky charms {especially if the trunk is up} but they are truly remarkable creatures. I found this little guy at a hipster store during one of our trips and had to buy a pocket full of luck for friends. I saved one for myself, because don’t we all need a little luck?

Friday the 13th is the perfect night for fassfriday. I’ve seen Jane Eyre, Hunger, Shame, and tonight Dangerous Method. Oh Fassbender, you are dangerous indeed.

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a huge fan of Robert Pattinson. Seriously. Since last year, when I received a copy of the Water for Elephants script — read the book twice — I have been highly anticipating the movie, which opens on April 22.
My good friend Ryan is a rock star. He had the good fortune of meeting Hal Holbrook (read about it here) who plays the older Jacob (Rob’s character) in WFE. Ryan recently corresponded with Hal and received a few nice things … including this signed poster for ME: Ren, Yours, Hal Holbrook. That’s right. Rock STAR. Thank you, Ryan!
