Ren Brad Barcelona

I have spent a good portion of this long holiday weekend chillin’ and watching films. When I'm watching a movie and something hits so close to home, I often put it to memory as if that was a sign of something... Vicky Cristina Barcelona.  I loved this film. But other than taking pictures and painting, there's not a lot I can relate to this lifestyle. Who wouldn't want to laze around in Barcelona with beautiful people, drink wine and ... umm, listen to sexy Spanish guitar man? Rachel Getting Married. Rehab. Dysfunctional family. Hmmm. Next. Sunshine Cleaning. Amy Adams and Emily Blunt are wonderful. I can't say I related to the “Merry Maids cleaning up blood scenes,” but the way the sisters find themselves, I have been there.
I watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button again. The first time at the theater, I (like most of the women there) was busy admiring the agelessness of Brad Pitt. This time, I sat through the 3 hours and relished the beautiful cinematography and great quotes. My favorite, which sums up the way I would like to view life, is this:
For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.
