Day tripper

She was a day.... tripper, Sunday driver…

When my good friend, Samae, invited me to day trip to Kansas City, I jumped. It was a much needed respite and source for creative inspiration, not to mention delectable food.

Before perusing through the shops at The Plaza, we loaded up on delicious pasta and cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory — Godiva Chocolate and Red Velvet Cheesecake.

I flipped over this Flipper at Paper Source. Fly swatter? Spatula! So many uses.

I ♥Anthropologie.

I’m coveting Tocca Eau De Parfum. Colette: a lush mix of bergamot, citrus, juniper and pink peppercorn mingle with florals, musks and woods. It should be aptly named Renette.

Covet Friday

This has been an emo week for me, full of introspection and inexplicable angst. Today, the clouds opened up and the sun came out giving me a bit of hope. While I don’t want or need “things” daily, it’s always fun to come upon items I desire. Covet Friday.

1) Dress courtesy of Calvin Klein. I don’t think I could ever find this or afford Calvin, but isn’t it beautiful? 2) Vintage ring (update here ). It looks like a giant bug. Rob’s lips are nice too. 3) Clean perfume. My all-time favorite … it’s delish. I wonder what DIRTY smells like.

4) New Moon movie companion. There will be a lot of Twilight-related crapola in the market when the movie opens, but this book is pretty.  5) Snow Patrol cd. Love them.  6) How to Be dvd. Don’t judge the cover. It’s indie, it’s Rob, it’s full of dorkable-goodness.

7) TrueBlood dvd sets. My friend Sam hooked me on these. The antithesis of Twilight.
